This oven-baked sockeye salmon is a delicious and healthy option, enhanced with a flavorful seasoning mix.

- 2 lb Skin-on Sockeye salmon, whole fillet or cut into 3–4 individual portions
- ⅓ Cup Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- ¼ Tsp Dried Thyme
- ¼ Tsp Oregano
- ¼ Tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ Tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 ½ Tsp Salt
- ¾ Tsp Pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced into rings
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Place sliced lemons on a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking dish. Lay the salmon flesh side up on the parchment paper, on top of the sliced lemons.
- Mix the seasonings with the olive oil in a small bowl and pour over the salmon.
- Bake at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes uncovered until the fish is cooked through to your liking or at 145 degrees.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve!
