Description
This peanut sauce is perfect for dipping or as a dressing.
Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon molasses (or honey)
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 2 to 3 teaspoons warm water (if needed to thin)
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, add soy sauce, peanut butter, molasses or honey, and rice vinegar.
- Add sesame oil, garlic powder, Chinese five spice powder, and hot sauce if using.
- Whisk thoroughly until the sauce is smooth and fully combined.
- If the sauce is too thick, add warm water a teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Transfer the sauce to an airtight jar and refrigerate. Shake or stir before each use.
Notes
- This sauce can be adjusted to your taste by altering the amount of hot sauce or sweetener.
