Delicious pecan pie bars with a sweet topping and buttery cake layer.

- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 box (15 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and pour the mixture evenly into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pecan filling. Do not stir.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much surface as possible.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the top is golden and edges are bubbling.
- Cool for 15–20 minutes before serving to let the filling set.

- These bars are best served warm or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
