Description

A creamy and hearty beef noodle casserole that’s perfect for dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  2. Add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms to the pan. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Add egg noodles directly into the skillet. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until noodles are tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
