Description

A delicious baked salmon dish topped with a creamy cheese mixture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. salmon (without skin)
  • 2 oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp. fresh chopped dill or dried
  • 2 tbsp. yellow onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200ºC).
  2. Line a glass baking dish or baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl with the garlic, onion, and fresh dill. Mix well.
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto the top of the salmon. If using salmon with skin, place it skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Put the salmon into the preheated oven uncovered, and bake for about 20 – 25 minutes until the cream cheese on top is just starting to turn golden brown.

Notes

  • Make sure to not overbake the salmon for the best texture.
  • Serve with a side of vegetables for a complete meal.
