Garlic Soy Pasta

Description

A quick and easy pasta dish with garlic and soy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and sugar, mixing well. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing until well coated.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

  • For added flavor, you can include crushed red pepper flakes.
