Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  2. Stir in canned diced tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add uncooked pasta into the pot, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid.
  4. Slowly pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook until pasta is al dente (10-12 minutes).
  5. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and chopped basil. Adjust seasoning if needed.
